Sunday night "a church divided' voted in a new pastor with an approval percentage of 94.1. Praise the Lord. It looks like after a year of healing we are no longer divided, but have come together. We pray that the 6% will be able to stand behind our new pastor, too. If you are one of them, what can we do to help? All of us have grown during this period, and hopefully we have adopted Paul's admonition in 1 Corinthians to set aside our own desires and work toward the common goal. We will never all agree on everything such as music, dress codes, leadership styles , etc. but we must agree on the fact that God has placed us here for a purpose and it is up to us to do all we can to reach that purpose and goal.
